Vive la resistance!

I know we're looking at some fairly repressive internet legislation in New Zealand, but we can still be thankful we're not in the third world yet.

I know we're looking at some fairly repressive internet legislation in New Zealand, but we can still be thankful we're not in the third world yet.

Surely governments do not come up with ideas like this out of whole cloth, simply because they're not voter-pleasing ideas. It can only be as a result of significant efforts by some lobby group or organisation, but where are the underlying sources?

Certainly we know that there are a number of repressive regimes around the world who think this sort of thing is a great idea, so the obvious conclusion is that such legislation must be promoted by people who are fronting for terrorist organisations.

Therefore it becomes our duty to assist our governments to resist these terrorists in whatever way possible.

HTH :-)
